It's a joke isn't it?

Can't imagine the media would have covered our promotion without any hint of caveat if there was any real threat of a points deduction. Plus the fact that we have been in negotiations will go in our favour; how could Col U claim to hold a 'no permission' stance if they were in talks?

We'll get a fine, and our (now guaranteed) promotion means we'll happily write the cheque and be on our merry way.

Pity friendly??
