Just woken up after the game...

Fucking get in!!

Got ticket last minute and so glad I did. Got train in to city and went for beer at the George. Then headed across to charlton. Got there nice n early and took a look around the ground which looks pretty impressive I'd u stand outside the home end. Stewards were friendly, if not over friendly asking if they could feel me up on the way in.

Game was tense but the noise from ncfc fans was immense!! Charlton fans barely made a whisper. Nelson scored a well taken header causing bedlam in the jimmy seed stand. Also enjoyed the leeds are losing 3-0 chant!

Charlton had most of the first half exchanges, but did nothing with it.

2nd half lambo went 100% defensive. 11 men behind the ball for 45 mins. Any other day I would whinge and say it was boring and would lead to us losing but yesterday was a siege mentality. Starting with us the fans behind the goal. Forster was incredible. Best goalie I have ever seen play for Norwich. If it wasn't for him it would have been a heavy loss. As the time went on of just sitting back n hoofing it long like a rugby match, charlton tired n made the defensive tactics work for lambo.

Dunno where 5 mins of injury time came from.
