Somebody lower down (oooer missus!) has already alluded to this but there was a kind of justice/symmetry to going to Charlton today and acheiving promotion.
11 months ago we went there and capitulated - a result that saw us in the third tier of English soccer for the first time in 50 years. Somehow the performance that day summed up everything that was wrong at this club. I have to admit that I was at my lowest ebb as a Norwich supporter that day and my mood wasn't helped when Gunn was given the job full time.
They say the darkest hour is just before the dawn and although we didn't know it at the time the two new directors followed by the appointment of McNally was the glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
I have always been proud to cal myself a Norwich supporter but especially proud today. Well done to the Lambert and the team and let's go on from here.
