Misplaced optomism...

all fcuking week I was convinced that we would do it. I believed. I really thought the script had been written. Southampton's last minute equaliser against Palace, Birmingham's un-natural fixation with woodwork...and yet we found ourselves out the bottom three with a game to go. I told myself we wouldn't do that to just drop back in the last day.

I was wrong.

Bollocks!

However, it's been an 'interesting' season to say the least. I have decided this evening, on the way home, to draw a line firmly under this season now. No what if's, but's, and maybe's. No post mortem. No looking back. No bitterness or regret. It is done. Finished. Over.

We will be back.
