No it wasn't.

I was in the Northcote Arms saying to lots of people:

"Honestly, in real life he's fine. No, I don't know why he acts like that on the Internet either."

Palace is usually silent because a) barely anyone bothers to go and b) those that have feel subdued after being so overwhelmingly ripped off, even before you've got onto the fact that we always get humped. Millwall I thought was OK for noise.
