Without taking any stance over the content of Boyle's routine, wasn't it always possible that at least one of his audience would have a personal experience of at least one issue he covered? This is not worthy of national news any more than 'man hits thumb with hammer'.
Cheap lazy reporting, with possible undertones of an attempt to stir the pot.
