Doesn't have any good ideas himself; but pretty good at spotting (and exploiting) other peoples'. And when I say exploiting, it's not as if he had a grand masterplan like he claimed in The Great Rock n Roll Swindle: Rotten & Jones were the driving force behind the Pistols, Viv was the clothes designer, Jamie Reid the artist, Fred & Judy Vermorel did all the work at Glitterbest.

Significant? Yes I think he might have a claim there; but far from a legendary mastermind.
