Soz, had to go and hoover the car

yep, it's fine and you'll be happy with the casting of all the main characters as younger versions of those we remember - even including one actor whose name I won't give in case it's a turn-off: he's very good too.

Erik Bana is a very good baddie, too, and Uhura is fit as all get out (Zoe Saldanha, who's hot as snot just now).

They even manage to squeeze in an everybody-lurches-to-the-left-on-impact thing, so skillfully that you could even miss it. The only thing that's missing is the wholly unconvincing double-handed club between the shoulder blades as an effective way of knocking out an opponent in a fight.
