Don't understand the maths used further down the board...

Can't see how they've come to ten points to guarantee promotion.

7 games left = 21 points
Swindon 2nd on 73
Millwall 3rd on 72
Forgetting that they have to play each other on the last day*, the most they can get is 94 & 93.
We're on 82 so 4 more wins puts us on 94 and guaranteed promotion, and if we win our next four then just a point against Gillingham would mean we don't have to wait a couple more games for the unrealistic overtaking of our goal difference, hence mathmatically guaranteeing the title.

Yeah, we may not need as much, but looking at ours, Swindon's & Millwall's next four games, they're all winable, so maybe we will.

Swindon:
Tranmere h
Colchester a - only serious doubt, but not really with Col U's form
Exeter h
Walsall h

Millwall:
Colchester a - again can't see Col U troubling
Gillingham h
Yeovil a
Huddersfield a - would expect Col U to be well out of it by this game, so less pressure on Hudders to get result

*S94 & M90 if Swindon won; the most Leeds & Charlton can get is 92 (but again they have to play each other and Charlton us) - S91 & M93 if Millwall win - S92 & M91 if they draw.

Leeds 92 & Charlton 89 if Leeds win - L89 C92 if C win - L90 & C 90 if a draw.

Charlton 89 if we beat them, 90 if we draw.
If both us and L beat Char C86 - two draws C88 - us/Leeds win & draw other C87 - C win one and draw other C90 - C win won lose other C89 - C win both C92.

Pain in the bum all these combinations, but still four wins and they mean nothing.

Al least there's only these that matter:
4 games time - Charlton vs Us
6 games time - Charlton vs Leeds
7 games time - Millwall vs Swindon
