Managers are always going to gripe about debatable decisions: prove them wrong about a penalty decision and they'll whinge about the throw-in that lead up to it.

I was irritated to the point of twitching last night, convinced as I was that we'd been cheated with two dodgy pennos and a handball. But then, honestly, I didn't see Rusty's handball (was it? I'm waiting for a video clip) and though I hated the second penno I'd have been screaming for it if it had happened at the other end.

As for the third, well, poo occurs, doesn't it.

And now, the following day, I'm a lot more relaxed about it. We started badly, and the best ref in the world wouldn't have changed that.

leave football as it is *except* we must have goal-line technology. If a ball crosses the line we must know. They spend 90 mins trying to make that happen, and we go and watch just to see it.
