.. was at Hillsborough in 2001(?). I'd just bought a cuppa and one of the old gimmers hanging around was saying to his mate "Reckon ee's gettin' 'is excooses in early today, bor." Can't remember what the injury situation was like, but anyway, we spanked them 0-5 with Holt (yes, Holt) getting one of them.

That was a right day of fisting.

No relevance of course, just mentioning that that was the last time I heard someone talking about ready-made excuses.
