It's quite possible to play on with a broken leg

When I was playing for my college I unknowingly broke mine in 2 places. Although it did really hurt we had no subs so I managed to carry on. I then walked 2 miles home and played snooker in the evening. By this time it was starting to get worse and I went to the hospital and ended up on crutches for over 3 months
