Here's the BBC's footage of Justin Fashanu's goal against Liverpool in 1980. The commentator (I think it's Barry Davies, but it might be David Coleman) just lets the move flow, and simply gives Ryan and Fashanu's surnames until the ball hits the net. Even then he pauses before he offers his thoughts on what's just happened.

Imagine how Tydlesley or Drury would drown that move with hackneyed nonsense!
