Over the past few months, Canary supporters have been asked to submit their stories of being a City fan to put into a brand new book that will be published and available to buy. Entries came flooding in, and the book is now ready to print.
The first 500 books are availble to pre-order now, and by doing so before Friday, April 9, you can have your name printed in the dedications page at the back of the book. Online orders can be made here User Posted Link
'City 'til I die' is full of tales of elation and exhilaration - all part and parcel of being a Norwich supporter. The foreword in the book is written by a fellow Canary fan, BBC sport presenter Jake Humphrey, followed by stories of many fans, young and old.
To pre-order your book, and get your name in print, simply click here or visit the Canary Stores at Carrow Road and The Mall.
This book enables fans to come together to share and write stories about their club.
City 'Til I Die is one of 16 new books which tell the stories of local football fans; all of them by fans, for fans.
These books are a roll-out from the immensely successful Brentford 'Til I Die, a Football League community award finalist in 2007.
The project is a partnership between the National Literacy Trust and Legends Publishing; funding is from Arts Council England, the Professional Footballers' Association and the Football Foundation. The Norwich City Study Centre has also contributed. Some of the proceeds from the sales of this book will provide free books for local school children, which will help to encourage Norwich children to love reading as well as football, and so increase their opportunities to succeed in life.
