Yes, you can only register with one library

You should be able to re-register with your library; but resync with yours and you'll lose what you've sync'ed with the other. As Brandy notes you can copy from many libraries provided you never sync; but that limits what you can do with your iPhone.

But have a google and you'll find utilities that'll allow you to copy from an iPhone
