On the one hand I think that the players were clearly disappointed about the Swindon performance/result and I sense that Lambert will have been quite stern this week, so typically I'd expect this to be a game that we would be very determined about.
However I think Leeds will be going through the same sentiments and given that they actually have more to play for, might make this game their turning point.
My hope is that the Beckford rumours are true - not because I see him as their biggest threat, but his attitude seems to have a negative spin on the rest of the team - and if there's more bust-ups around then so much the better.
I also hope that despite the local media whipping up the frenzy Lambert is a good enough manager to set this up just as he did the Colchester one - publicly 'just another game', behind the scenes something special.
The reason I'd like to win is that if we don't, it's not the points issue, but the fact that this will be a 'well they're top but Leeds are still the better team' comments. And that will probably have more of a negative effect than the lost points. And I know that people say we shouldn't care what the media focus is but I do.
