The docs have a point, in an enclosed space like a car the kids will be breathing in the adults smoke, which will harm them.
The irritant, is that it needs the government to go all Big Brother to stop people doing it, rather than people being able to take the responsibility themselves.
I smoke in the car (probably not fair on the wife previously I must admit) but i've stopped since she got pregnant if she's in there.
If i'm still smoking when baby comes, I won't smoke with it in the car, just like I've never smoked while driving if I have any of my Nephews or my Niece in there.
I don't really agree with it becoming illegal as I think it is too invasive a policy, however I agree with the argument behind it.
I just wish more people had a sense of personal responsibility these days.
