For every Swansea, Bristol City, Hull and leicester (who do well immediately following promotion), there is Sheff Weds, Notts Forest, QPR who have continued to struggle and flirt with relegation again after getting back up. Forest and QPR have only just started doing better due to big money thrown at them.

Of course I would like to aim for top 6, but as an Insurance policy I would prefer to be up against so called weker teams and those that I feel are less likely to improve next year (or even able to attract those players necessary).

Look at the teams in the Champ. No obvious weak links, Ipswich and QPR both spent money and they are scraping around at the bottom also. Remember - we do not have much money to play with.

The first challenge HAS to be to consolidate and avoid going back down.
