My brother delivered one for my Dad?s funeral in 2003

Matt (my brother) is a good public speaker and I knew I would struggle to hold it together on the day so he was the obvious choice between us. We spent an evening or two writing it and concentrated on Dad?s character, his strengths and things he did well and enjoyed in life. The eulogy started from when Dad was a lad in Norwich with stories, some serious, and some humorous about his life, and how he fought illness in his later years.

Our local parish priest knew Dad well and also said some words in praise, as both Mum and Dad were active members of the parish.

The eulogy was around ten minutes long.
