5 wins and 2 draws will do it

If Millwall win on Monday they will move to 68 points. They will then be the nearest team that could stop us getting a top 2 finish.

They could get a maximum of 95 points from the 9 remaining games. For us to reach 96 points we would need 17 points. That is 5 wins, 2 draws, 2 defeats.

If we do this we are guaranteed promotion.

However, are Millwall or any of the sides in the top six going to win anything like 9 from 9. Its unlikely.

You could argue that somebody might win 7 from 9 which would leave us needing a record of 3 wins, 2 draws 4 defeats for promotion.

So i reckon 3 wins and 2 draws, or 4 wins and we will be ok.
