Just back from the game

Now, I've heard of good sides playing within themselves - but we were asleep for the first 25 minutes or so. Lambert must've given them a rocket and woken them up. Second half was a lot better - but with about 20-25 minutes left, we started sitting deep, and got what we deserved in the end.

Forster made an absolute world class save immediately before their equaliser - but it had been coming, and overall, I don't think we merited more than a point. Why do footballers the world over always sit deep with only a one-goal lead? It's infuriating! But never mind: we're in a fantastic position, we're going up, and I thought before this trio of tough games that we'd take seven points from nine, and still do. There may have been an element of what you might term "before the Lord Mayor's Show" about today anyway.

So now - bring on the Leeds!
