Pointless "i'm not nervous but I actually am" stat of the day. In the last 5 seasons

The first team to break the 80 point barrier has gone on to win the league.

08/09 Leicester 1st
07/08 Swansea 1st
06/07 Scunthorpe 1st
05/06 Southend 1st (just!)
04/05 Luton 1st

Also, technically we could just about guarantee auto in the next 3 games.
Win all 3 gives us 87 points.
If the teams currently 3rd-6th all lose the next 3 then none of them will be able to get more than 87 points with their remaining number of games.
Unlikely I know, but there you go.

Disclaimer, I've not bothered to see if these teams play each other in their nest 3 games so if they do don't bother pointing this out.
