You wouldn't call a person from California a californian because it is a state of america. So the 52 states fly under the same flag, America. So you would therefore be American!

As for Africa. Its a continent. So if you were to go down that road, you would call a person who is British, European. Being from Europe!

The British isles is a group of Independent Countrys, not states of one country!

You would have to be American. Typical narrow minded view of the rest of the world!

You dont call a person from California a californian - there is 52 states in US - you call the person an american. And for africa, we dont even give a f**k what country you are from - you are a african no matter what kind of s**tty country you are from.
