Of course you eat it!!

Venison is the top favourite meat chez Git, we have a whole freezer just for venison! And "stalker's breakfast" (fry the fresh liver and kidneys just out of the deer) is fantastic

There's a huge row going on in my bit of Argyll at the moment. The Foresty Commission have shot a whole load of deer (30-40) because they were eating the trees much more than usual because of the hard winter, and they just PILED THEM UP IN A BIG HEAP AND LEFT THEM. The stalking community is absolutely f**king furious. We shoot very selectively, looking for the weaklings, the injured, the oldies, the ones that won't make it through the winter. And we eat what we kill. That sort of indiscriminate slaughter, treating them like rats, is sickening.
