Rubbish - surely....

if he picked Kirkland ahead of Green before it means he simply thinks Kirkland is the better keeper, and that the only reason Green has been ahead of him recently is that Kirkland has missed a lot of football through injury. Now he's back playing regularly he is obviously back ahead of Green (because Sven clearly thinks he's a better keeper).
If your rather barmy argument was true Carson would now be in ahead of Green because you think Liverpool's reserves rank 'higher' than Fizzy Pop teams in Sven's mind and that is his main selection criteria.
