So seems a bit odd that Nike would make *us* pay *them* so that they could make a shirt that would be guaranteed to sell. And on which they'd make a slice on each one.

You'd have thought that they should all be offering us money for the rights, really. With, as you say, smaller ones like Xara being willing to pay more for the rights, to raise their profile.

But on the other hand, we'd probably sell more Pooma ones than Xara ones, so the extra revenue would offset us getting less cash up front.

But I dunno. That was just logic, rather than any knowledge.
