Adam Virgo was subject of a very strange transfer

A few years ago Adam Virgo was playing for Brighton when McGee was manager and from nowhere he was sold for a big old fee to Celtic where one of McGee's old pals was in charge. The old pal was Gordon Strachan.

The son of a mate of mine was at Brighton and couldn't quite believe the transfer.

Old pals, "cough", if you ask me.

Adam Virgo is now back at Brighton.
