Saturday...very easy but...

still easy to tell that on the left side with Rose and Lappin we looked weak. Only seen them the once together but Lappin looked very slow (although he did have a couple of decent efforts) and in the Championship this will be exposed much more so. Rose seems to have very little ability to control a football. Defensive wise he wasn't tested much. On the plus side the right side of our team looked pretty good...Russell, Smith and McNamee. Talking of Korey Smith, well that was just one of the finest midfield performances I have seen in a City shirt, even better than the last time I was at Carrow Road when he was pretty immense against Wycombe.

Also thought we were quite weak in a lot of the challenges, many players bottled a few 50/50's. I will put this down to the fact that the game was to easy and they didn't want to risk themselves. Well I hope it was that anyway.

So Lambert will put Drury back in for Rose and Russell in for Lappin I would imagine and switch McNamee to the left.
