As it happens, I have also seen three team-mates break legs in a five year period. (One of them broke it twice, but I'm counting that as one).

That doesn't include the various other club-mates and friends who have broken legs over the last 15 or so years that I've played senior footy. One chap even ended up losing his leg below the knee.

Co-incidence? In most cases, yes. Shit happens.
