I got a stand-by flight back to the uk from cyprus in 1985 and hitchhiked to norwich from liverpool st stn. the people in the car had, incredibly, a spare ticket to the game which was supposed to be for a mate of their son's who was flying in from canada. he didn't make it and i got the ticket at face value. the game? norwich ipswich milk cup 1/2 final. doesn't get any better than that.
