I reckon that most people seek solace close to home...It's just a mess, and I still think that the person who comes out as the total tosspot is Terry. And it also says a lot about the whole pressure on pro footballers at this level. Perhaps when they married the girl-next-door, childhood sweethearts it was an easier situation than the need to parade a 'model' girlfriend without thinking about what the relationship is about. Churn out the baby, do the OK spread, then when something goes wrong not really have the tools to cope.
