If we insist that these 'stories' are in the public image, then we cannot complain when there is fallout from them.

If he went it would be a media circus.
Everytime one of them decided not to pass to the other, or gave them a bit of a hospital ball it would be picked over and noted as a 'sign of their poor relationship'.

Its simply not workable now.
PLus, if Cole was fit, it wouldn't be an issue would it?
