top bloke in O2 store yesterday

I'm (stupet i know) tied into 35 quid a month contract with them and yet I use hardly any call mins or texts but my overseas calls are stratospheric and i wanted to pull the plug on it but of course would need to pay off the remainder of the contract, over 300 quid. so bloke says i could "upgrade" to a simplicity contract (months notice) and cancel that after 14 days (the "cooling off" period). so did. and in 2 weeks O2 can do one. cheers bloke.
