I cant understand how they can give the same punishment

For 2 completely different challenges from the weekend. Rusty goes in for a challenge and probably doesn't even know the guy is coming in behind him. Was purely accidental. Clumsy but accidental.

You then have the guy who goes through the back of Robbie Savage with pure malice in mind and has no intention of getting anywhere near the ball.

How are they both worth 3 match bans?
