I went to a cheap physio, then I went to a another which was more expensive, and then I joined a chiropractic clinic
All 3 did/do the same manipulation of joints. Barring the first, they cost the same
I don't distrust doctors or science, but I don't hang their every word either, despite how thorough they are
I resent being open to something as being equated to as being gullible too. That's actually my whole point here. I appreciate I'm reacting more at scrampton, but he's constantly on here rubbishing just about everything unless science approves
The reason chiropractic hasn't worked for me is because of circumstance, which is what I've tried to explain above
What's the general point in unlocking 3-5 muscles in your lower back, if all you're going to do sit for 40 hours in an office. The inflammation and weakness to the muscles will only lead to them locking back up, because you're not moving
It becomes a vicious circle. The solution isn't the chiropractors are doing nothing, The solution is me not helping myself by being in an office job
Circumstance doesn't really offer me anything else though. I can't do physical work cos I have the injury, and if I wanted to, I'd have to build up a resistance through weights or exercise (which is just as tricky, because you need to know your own pain management)
