The stretches in this book are brilliant

(not all of them, cos some of them are mega)

But this is a great purchase, you'll find the ones that work for you, and you'll do them often

You say you slouch over a desk. If you are alone in the kitchen any time, simply levering your left leg backwards (straight), for 10, and then right for ten, will loosen and relieve the stress on your back from being an office

It's likely you're catching injuries from being still most of the day
