yesterdays game

I would like to put down to a bad day at the office , but the manor of the defeat that concerns me

We had no reply when Southampton scored , we were 2nd to nearly every ball we had no pace to our game , and no passion , with way we play a fairly fast paced game I wondering but hopeing we haven't run out of steam and if a couple of players are carrying knocks ( something that is usually kept in the dressing room)

Our performance yesterday was akin to a team heading towards relegation

And if we are honest that result has been coming since the middle of December

Rustys sending off his foot was up the studs were showing and no one will argure that it was a free kick so what does the ref do next the only mitigating fact is that the player came from his blind side but that shouldn't make much difference

If that performance is repeated in the rest of the games this season ( I'm sure it wont but ..) I have trouble seeing where we will pick any more points a couple of weeks ago I had trouble seeing where we would be beaten
