The club had been very badly run for years. We/he is now reaping what was sown.

Regarding the charge for tickets. Why the f**k was a club in our situation not charging postage/admin fees on ticket sales? Madness.

?1.50 per ticket is not a lot. If you are coming to games from outside Norfolk, have one less pie on the way down or something to counteract the added cost.
