Probably Theo + Alnwick weren't as expensive as Marshall.
Probably if we'd kept with them we'd still be in a position where the fourth division was more likely than the second.
Probably in those circumstances we'd have lost a considerable number of fans.

So it's all rather vague ifs, buts and maybes.
