I was watching cricket the other day (Most unusual for me) and the third umpire was called into play for a debatable decision.

The whole process took a matter of seconds.

I'm sure more technology could be employed in football for such iffy decisions as the "hand ball" at Fratton park last season.

Those two points could have made all the difference.
