Re. Poll below, to all smokers...

Keep paying the tax, dudes. The country owes you a great debt (around ?4bn a year) and I for one hope you all smoke till the day you die. Of lung cancer, heart disease, emphysema etc. Sorry, shouldn't have mentioned that bit.
Anyway, you won't hear me complaining about your stench, even when I am trying to enjoy the delicate flavours of my meal in a fine restaurant. On no - no killjoy do-gooder, me. I know you really enjoy it and could give it up anytime you wanted if the enjoyment faded.
Whinging ex-smokers are the worst. After all, what do they know ? Except that they feel better, smell better and after 5 years have the same serious disease risks as any other non-smoker. Pompous bastards.
So, smoke on, dudes. I don't fancy 98% income tax again.
