The real tragedy of today...

apart from the obvious fact that we will be playing championship football next year is the what if factor. Seeing some of the players were linked with over the past couple of weeks had we of stayed up and with the money worthy would of had to spend next season I really had high hopes that we could develop into a decent premiership team. Granted not a team pushing for europe next season however I thought a respectable midtable finish and maybe doing well in either the FA cup or the league cup. We now have to put that all on hold for a year if we do gain promotion straight away and watch from the sidelines as it were...
