Worthy was ridiculed for the emphasis he put on working hard during a game, but we can see exactly what he was talking about now. We're missing our two hardest-working players - Holt and Drury - and it means that the chores don't get done. I'm sure I read somewhere a couple of years ago that Holt covered the most ground of any player in his league. And Drury has been matching him. Russell's workrate has drifted away a bit lately (now the transfer window has closed?), leaving the likes of Lappin, Smith and Doh, who are good workhorses, with too much to do. Holt's vital, and, as good as Rose has been, I'd much prefer Drury if fit.
