Cheeky little straw man there!

From "some" Championship players to "a squad that didn't leave".

Of the squad what would you class as a "Championship" player?

D. Russell? Yes
G. Doherty? Yes
A. Drury? Yes
W. Hoolahan? Debatable, although clearly too good for L1

Of the rest it has to be said that the squad that fills the line-up and bench are almost entirely unproven at championship level (consistent appearances in a team at that level for more than a few seasons). This season can be used as the stepping board to prove they are all Championship players... bust most are not.
