Dear Sir

I am utterly disgusted by the numerous members of the general public (if I may so term them, and I think I may) who are unable to distinguish between the separate towns of TONBRIDGE and TUNBRIDGE WELLS. It's like getting Norwich mixed up with Ipswich on the basis that they both end in "wich". I blame modern education; if only schools brought back the birch we'd soon see an end to all this nonsense. It never did me any harm. Must stop, I have an appointment with my dominatrix now.
