i've just got a samsung and and happy with it.

apparently there's a bit of a 'lottery' issue with their panels - half of them are an inferior quality with several pixels f**king up within far too short a timespan, but so far mine's been perfect.

LG are about the same quality and price range but I was told that their after sales service is awful.
