Fotheringham getting badly injured wasn't expected, and Grant was furious about Etuhu being sold (as was I), and the same thing happened with Earnshaw

That's the beauty of this season, no exits, and players added to the squad, as well as the dross in the background that can't be helped

This is the first time there's been no ifs and buts about squad, Lambert has just got who he wanted and kept who he wanted regardless of difficulties

The might just learn from that (I pray more than hope), than in seasons gone by when ridiculous things like clauses or panick signings (earnshaw) have had a massive impact on the next 2-3 years
