I was stressing that we need to strengthen the midfield and defence which was very weak. I suspect you will find many people who didn?t really criticise many of those signings. So I could equally claim what a genius I am to have predicted this. The nature of football discussion is many people get things right and wrong all the time. I could show you a lot more things I have got drastically wrong in the past few years but could also outweigh them with things I have got right.

Oh and remember that around the same time you were claiming that we were being very well run. If you believed that then you must have supported Grant and his signings. To dig out other posters posts and put them to the top of the board from years ago when already they have been discussed below is pretty poor form. In the main in that post I was wrong but if you look at the overall picture to what I was saying about signing the right sort of player...then I was right, as proved in the Roeder era. I just misjudged the players really.
