I share those thoughts

Look at Reading. I know they came from nothing, but they did well, seemed to spend reasonably sensibly, had decent backing and yet now they're just where we were last year - a short-term managerial solution and heading to league 1.

Although I thought the original proposal was purely for the benefit/safeguard of Bolton/Gartside, the two-tier top level might actually be a better answer for clubs like us. Take us above the Champ, but not so that we need to bankrupt to compete. And perhaps have some innovative approach to gaining promotion to the top tier.
