FAO Fierce Panda re. Ipod type thingys

How desperate are you to have a flashy colour screen with a fancy jiggly touch pad?

Or do you just want something that plays a crap load of Music for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours.

I bought the 20gb Sony a few weeks ago and it's fandabydozy(great), sure it's not as fasionable, but are you buying a fasion statement of a music player?

it's better built than the Ipod, has a better battery (by about 4x) and is smaller, and there's now a 30gb one for ?230 in Dixons, amazon do the 20gb one for ?175 now.

just adding my twopen'th, and hoping you make the right choice.
